Tip: To prevent the PW from slipping on smooth glossy pencils, wrap a rubber band around the pencil prior to rolling on the PW.

Use:
Pencil Weight is recommended for use during fine motor or self help activities. They can be helpful for individuals who experience tremoring during fine motor tasks. They provide proprioceptive input, increase sensory feedback, enhance kinesthetic awareness, and can be used for strengthening exercises.
Instructions:
The recommended installation is to lay the weight flat on a table and roll it up around a pencil, securing it with the hook & loop strip. The PW can be positioned 1/2” above the pencil point and be used as a “grip”, or it can be positioned 1-2” up from the pencil point and the user can grip the pencil itself. Both positions are effective.
